The heart of CARE Community Center exists in our willingness to serve those in need in our community. Our passion is to effect change in our community one neighbor at a time. We seek to provide resources and education to those that we serve as we inspire others to action and to join our cause.
What we do
We offer many different programs here at Care Community Center. We have a food pantry, a free tax prep service, and workshops.
Our food pantry offers every single one of our neighbors who need food an opportunity to receive food once a month for free.
Our Free tax prep services are offered during tax season and limited appointments after April 15th in post-tax season
Our Mission
At CARE Community Center you aren’t just a number or a statistic. You are our neighbors, our friends, our community. We live here, work here and this is our home, too. We aren’t part of a larger program or working for a state program. We are part of this neighborhood. You will never be a number. You are our neighbors and YOU MATTER!
Relationships: Empowering our neighbors with authentic relationships, partnerships, and mentoring.
Community Investment: Connecting and investing our neighbors in the overall well-being of the community they inhabit.
Aid: Providing our neighbors with the tools they need to overcome poverty and to gain and maintain self-sufficiency.
Transformation: Assisting our neighbors to grow from living in crisis to living in wholeness and dignity.
