CARE Tax Center Mobile App

This year we offer an option to file your taxes on our mobile app.  Use the button below to access our app on your mobile device.  This app allows us to do your return with limited to no contact.  You will still receive the same level of service from our IRS-certified volunteers as you would with an in-person appointment.  Just click the button and follow the instructions in the app to create an account and submit your documents to us.  Contact us if you have questions. The mobile app will be available starting January 22nd.

Location

CARE Tax Center Washington is located at the Fayetteville Public Library 401 W Mountain in Fayetteville, AR.  Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the first and third Saturdays. Use the calendar below or call 479-246-0104, and select option 3, to make an appointment. The phone line is answered Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Please call back if you reach the recording during business hours, as we are on the other line or helping other taxpayers.  Do not leave a voice message.

  • This the 13614-C intake form required by the IRS to have your taxes prepared at a free VITA tax preparation site.

  • You can use this form if you'd like to visit our Washington County site at the Fayetteville Public Library.

  • This is the survey CARE uses to collect demographic information for grant writing to keep this program available for free.

  • This form permits us to use your non-identifiable demographic information that we capture in our CharityTracker database for grant writing and reporting purposes. This will not be your name, address, or other contact information. You would only be contacted by us about us preparing your tax return.

Evaluation of Information Protection Practices -- Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information. Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
  12. What About Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information? We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.
